Event: Corn Field Maze

Details: Pheasant Fields Farm was one of the first farms in Kitsap County to create a "living" corn maze and open it to the public. In 2006, the paths of our 2-acre corn maze were decorated with painted pumpkins and other seasonal delights reflecting harvest time; the maze also included a "mystery puzzle". $3/per child (under 15) / $5/per adult / Event Family Pass/Corn Maze: $12 per family of 4; $2 per each additional person. Details: You will help tuck farm animals in for the night, explore a cornfield maze with flashlights, enjoy a storyteller and music around a campfire nestled in our woods! Exit to another campfire area, sip free hot chocolate and stay as long as you like.

Event: Bras for a Cause
Host: Soroptimist International of Greater North Kitsap

Details: Bras for a Cause is shaping up to be the most outrageous charity auction in Kitsap!
Tickets $40 per person.
Local businesses and individuals are busily creating theme bras for the exciting new fundraiser, Bras for a Cause, sponsored by Soroptimist. These objects d artes will be auctioned off to benefit local breast cancer services at a fun-filled event on October 20th at the Silverdale Hotel.
The primary recipients for this year's auction will be the Harrison Medical Center's Oncology Department proposed rooftop healing garden and Hospice of Kitsap County.
Entries will range from bras covered in silk flowers, to lighted bras, seashell adorned bras, and metal art bras the sky s the limit! There is even one entry made out of car parts for the classic car enthusiast. Entrants are asked to think outside the box for this worthy cause. Business donors are encouraged to include gift items or gift certificates with their bras. They can donate a decorated theme bra, become an event sponsor, purchase advertising or donate items for the silent auction. All donations are tax deductible.
Entry forms for decorated bras and sponsorships are being accepted until October 10th. Auction items are welcomed up to the date of the auction.
